Software innovation for nuclear energy
At the forefront of nuclear simulation since 2019.
ENSO offers advanced solutions with simulation codes for analysis, modeling, and validation in the nuclear sector, from operational processes to expert training programs.
Since 2021, ENSO is certified by SGS (Société Générale de Surveillance) with the standard ISO:9001 2015 for the following services:
Development, verification, and validation of computer codes in the fields of nuclear and industrial engineering, as well as the development of other analysis tools related to such codes.
Design and organization of training in the field of nuclear and industrial engineering.
Consulting services in the field of nuclear and industrial engineering, including design, analysis, and validation activities.
OUR SERVICES
Certified nuclear and industrial engineering technical services
Thermohydraulic analysis and plant support
We develop plant models to simulate operational events, accident scenarios, design modifications, and Probabilistic Safety Assessments (PSA).
Development and validation of nodalizations
We apply validated methodologies (AQP and SCUP) for the development and optimization of input models, in compliance with international standards (OECD/NEA), for use in licensing processes and operational support.
Design basis accident (DBA) and extension conditions (DEC) simulation
We simulate complex scenarios using detailed plant models based on the knowledge and data acquired through participation in international experimental programs.
Uncertainty analysis (BEPU)
We implement statistical methodologies to quantify uncertainty in safety calculations, considering input parameters, initial conditions, and numerical characteristics of the codes.
Severe Accident Analysis and SAMG
We test and assess Severe Accident Management Guidelines (SAMG) using advanced simulations, supporting decision-making under extreme conditions.
Coupled codes and multiscale simulations
We integrate thermal-hydraulic, thermo-mechanic, neutronic, chemical, CFD, and structural codes for enhanced accuracy and realism in safety analysis in complex nuclear environments.
TEAM
Where we come from
Víctor Martínez-Quiroga and Marina Pérez-Ferragut have a long history in the field of safety analysis with thermal-hydraulic codes.
